I found these tracks in light snow near the edge of an ice-covered pond in North Attleborough, MA. Whoever left them walked right by a small stand of Cat-tail (Typha sp.) to approach an opening in the ice. Who left the tracks?

Turkey
Nice guess, but not a Turkey. The length of a Wild Turkey track is usually around 4-5″.
Great Blue Heron
My guess would be Great blue heron.
Great Blue Heron. Toe one (hallux) is long and registers more or less completely. Nice find this time of year I have never seen GBH tracks in the snow.
Nice work Andy, Vin, and Jon. The maker was none other than a Great Blue Heron.
