Quiz #68: Tree/Shrub

July is prime fruit season, but not every wild fruit is suitable for human consumption.  Identify this woody plant with tempting though inedible (for humans) fruit. (Hint: You can tell this isn't Black Huckleberry because the fruit lack the five-parted belly-button-like calyx).

  1. I’m pretty sure it’s Glossy Buckthorn. If I could crush one of the berries and see the seeds, I’d know for sure.
