    1. For the most part, Semipalmated Plovers migrate through in May and early June on their way to the arctic. So yes, they should be breeding now, and for the most part absent from New England. Numbers will pick up again in late July, August, and September, as the birds head south from the tundra.

      As for the camera, all of the videos and photos so far have been taken handheld. I’m glad you enjoyed this meditation.
